The Advance Global Australian Awards celebrate Australians living
overseas, who exhibit remarkable talent, exceptional vision, ambition and who
are future leaders and innovators in their chosen field.
The event was televised live on SBS and Baz
Luhrmann was the stand out winner for the event, his brief appearance to
collect his award was the highlight of the evening. The event was held at the
Opera Point Marquee overlooking Sydney Harbour, the perfect backdrop for such
an illustrious evening.
